  1. Clearly this means "Go" as well as "If you get hit it's your own fault".

  2. At least the light will always have priority for power, since it would be embarrassing to have a power outage next to the CFE office...Oh wait, I forgot, it's not a big deal to work in the dark.

  3. I have to say I have never seen this here but if I did I don't think it would surprise me.

  4. It has been that way for a while so I guess it is working as they intended?! It has been that way for over a month because I don't get to Joco that often and it was like that the last time I was there. Of course being careful at that intersection i still almost got creamed. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

  5. There is a "temporary" traffic light on the main highway in Melaque that has shown a constant red signal as long as I have been there. I have no idea what it is supposed to regulate. Whatever it is, no one pays any attention to it. A friend and I refer to it as the mordida toll booth.

  6. Are we confused yet? Yes!

I would opt for whatever works. What did you do besides take a picture?

  7. Vadose: RIGHT! Go. . .but if anything happens. . .your up you know what.
Tancho: lol Isn't it great that CFE is in the background! Maybe it's like some kind of an electricity overdose.
    Amanda: Yep, no surprise.
    El Jubliato: Ahhhhh, no.
    Señora: That's right! If it ain't broke. . .
Steve: Great name, Mordida Toll Booth. I love this country. I love that this can happen and no one really cares. Except for the guy that gets hit in the intersection. . .
Calyp: The ladies in the pic are laughing at me taking the pic. I stopped, checked the opposing light to see what it was (red) and chose green.
