Indie Publishing - Update 4 - DONE DEAL! 2 BOOKS PUBLISHED ON KINDLE! Sept 2011

Two books up, two more to go.

A wonderful cover artist crossed my path
and I commissioned him to do covers for 3 books.
Here they are:

Didn't he do a good job?

His name is Bronson Dunbar
and here are his contacts:

Bronson was easy to work with,
fairly priced, and so creative and
willing to work with me throughout
the entire process that I kept waiting
for the other shoe to drop.
Know what I mean?
It never did.

Not only that, his dad is a formatter
and can help Indy/Self Pubbers
with their formatting for Kindle
and Smashwords.
Here is his link:

So, for one week,  from today Sept 14, 2011 to
next Wed Sept 21, 2100, both of my books are on sale
for the amazing price of. . .drum roll. . .
. . .ba dump bump. . .

On the 21st, they will revert back
to their normal price of $2.99US
Both of these books are eBooks
and available for download on Amazon.

My next book, in the final stages of rewrite,
is a memoir of my parents love story,
their move to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1936,
and their early life in Hawaii documented by
my mother's letters home to her family
from 1937 thru 1945.

Here is the cover:

  1. Congratulations on your book publishing accomplishment. The books look ver professional, indeed.

  2. Just started reading them on the Kindle, They look great!

  3. Thanks Laurie! Appreciate it.

Oh, good, Tancho. I don't have a Kindle and have to go by what friends say and how it looks on Amazon's mock-up when formatting it. Because the Hmmmm book is photos, it will fare better on a color reader.

  4. So I own a computer Kindle and your two books (as well as a couple that came already installed)! Next: to check 'em out!

  5. Not that it matters much...I made the purchase anyway, but it is kind of funny that the 99 cent special is only for residents of the U.S. Down here in Mexico we have to pay full price :)

  6. Hi Bob, Amazon tells me that it depends on where your Kindle is registered. If it is reg in the states the prices are lower, if reg is MX they are higher due to it costing them a surcharge to send the ebooks to MX. I know, I don't get it either. Apparently they are charged extra to send their books to other countries than where the Kindle is from. grrr
    Thank you, tho.
