Meet my hands-down favorite food
photographer
and foodista:
Penny de los Santos
Here she is on Ted Talk reporting
on photographing a meal at the end of Ramadan in
war-torn Lebanon with eight Iraqi refugees.
She was on assignment.
And here is her website,

beautiful food!
¡BUEN PROVECHO, AMIGOS!
inspiring work!! I bookmarked her blog. Thanks for sharing that.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it! Stay tuned for part 2, my favorite food stylist coming up. Didn't want to add it to this post and steal any of Penny's thunder.
DeleteHer lighting is most interesting. And it appears that she doesn't fiddle with the food like spraying it with glycerin.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Her lighting is amazing, and I also agree that it doesn't look like she uses those old glycerin tricks either. Just honest food and honest photos.
DeleteI LOVE this website, thanks. And I haven't even gotten to the food part...
ReplyDeleteGood G, glad you liked it. Another good one coming up next, you'll like this one too.
